Concession Stand Guidelines
1. The concession stands are checked regularly by the
Health Department. Please follow all of the procedures
outlined by the Concession Stand Manager on the day of
the game so that we can comply with all of the rules set
forth by the Health Department. There are no exceptions
to these rules, so please do not ask the concession
stand manager to break them.
2. Volunteers will need to sign in at the home side
concession stand as soon as they arrive for the game.
The percentage of the proceeds that goes to LHS Band is
based on an accurate record of all of our volunteers at
each game, so we want to make sure we are credited with
the proper number of volunteers. Upon arrival, the
concession stand manager will assign you a position and
go over the concessions procedures for all volunteers.
3. No open toed shoes are allowed in the concession
stand.
4. All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Children younger than 16 are not allowed inside the
concession stand.
5. Spirit Wear - All concessions workers may only wear
their school's spirit wear (shirts and hats) when that
particular team is playing at Goldsmith. So, Lewisville
parents may only wear LHS spirit wear at LHS home games,
and Marcus parents may only wear Marcus spirit wear at
MHS home games. Also, avoid wearing any type of spirit
wear during the middle school and non-varsity games
during the week (Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thurs games).
6. General staffing requirements: These numbers can go
up if Marcus needs additional help in staffing. You may
sign up for both shifts on the same night.
a. Monday (7th grade) games, 1 volunteer for setup and 1
volunteer for game and cleanup.
b. Tuesday and Wednesday (8th grade) games, 1 volunteer
for setup and 2 volunteers for game and cleanup.
c. Thursday (Freshman or JV) games, 2 volunteers for
setup and 3 volunteers for game and cleanup
d. Friday varsity games, 3 volunteers for setup and 10
for game and cleanup.
7. Game volunteers are also responsible for cleanup.
Plan on staying after the last game has ended to assist
in cleaning the concession stand.
8. All volunteers are required by LISD to fill out the
volunteer form (Once) for a background check.
