love playing 4th horn in the orchestra here. I also spend
a lot of time studying composition and writing music. I
have had several of my pieces for horn ensemble debuted by
the Texas
State Horn Cats. I also wrote a piece for piano that did
well in the composition contest here, but did not gather a
first place unfortunately. I work for Vista Ridge High

After high school I did a
semester at NCTC, Corinth. I then joined the Army. In the
Army I was a Military Police Officer. My first duty
station was in Korea. After serving in Korea I went to
Fort Sill, OK. There I met my husband Kevin while station
in Fort Sill. We got married June 29th, 2003. I got out of
the Army August of 2003. I had my daughter Emma July 31st,
2005. I am now working at the Cooke County Detention
Center as a Correctional Officer. I am due to have a boy
November 2nd of this year. |

Well... I graduated college
from Boston College two years ago and since then I've been
floating around a little bit. I went back to TX, lived in
the heartland of Lewisville for a year and then found
myself once again up here in Boston. I work for a DNA
sequencing laboratory now named the Broad Institute and
play with DNA all day. So if anybody needs some mosquito
or squid DNA you know who to call - me! |

Fondest Memory:
My favorite is freshman year
trumpet practices. Melissa Mayo and I always seemed to
find some trouble to get into - water balloons, dirty (and
I mean dirty mouthpieces), etc. |

I graduated from Baylor
University in May '05 with a degree in Architecture and
Interior Design, and was in band for 3 years. After
graduating, I got a job at an architecture firm in Vail,
CO and that's where I am currently. I live with my
boyfriend of 2 years, Will Yates, and our chocolate lab,
Laura. Will is a hydrologist and works for the Eagle
River Water District here in Vail. I enjoy skiing (of
course), hiking, climbing, whitewater rafting, etc. I do
miss everyone back in TX and everywhere else so much, but
the mountains are absolutely beautiful and I love it here! |
